Meet the Staff at Our Holly Springs Dentist Office
Jana Tucker, Office Manager
Jana is originally from Durham, relocated to Sanford in 2013. She has worked in the dental field for the last 17 years as a scheduling coordinator, now office manager. She is highly regarded for her compassionate personality and truly cares about the patient’s needs. She believes the most important thing is for each person to feel comfortable and welcome whenever they call or come into the office for an appointment.
She spends her time away from work with her beautiful daughter, significant other, and son. She enjoys working in the yard, renovating and remodeling homes, and loves going to the beach with her family.
Carrie Simmons, Dental Assistant
Carrie is from Kings Mountain (a little town south of Charlotte), North Carolina. She moved to Willow Springs after graduating high school. She graduated from the Wake Tech Dental Assisting program in 2013 and thereafter received her CDA. In October of the same year, she married her husband, Matt. Carrie has always had a passion for dentistry. She believes a beautiful smile is important. She enjoys working with patients to assist them to achieve and maintain great dental health. Her favorite part about her role in dental healthcare is getting to know her patients and their families.
When Carrie is not at the office working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She loves playing the piano and spending time outdoors. Trips to the beach are her favorite! On the weekends she spends her time attending church with family and relaxing.
Julie Boney, Dental Assistant
Julie is originally from Southbury Connecticut and moved to Holly Springs back in 2005. Before moving down to NC, she earned a Bachelors’s degree from Plymouth State University and a Masters’s degree from Southern CT State University in the field of Human Physiology and Exercise Science/Nutrition. After working in the health field for over 20 years, she decided to go back to school to earn her certificate in Dental Assisting.
She has experience working with people of all ages and enjoys helping people and making a difference in their lives. She has had an interest in dentistry for many years and was so excited to have the opportunity to make the career change. Having been working with people in healthcare for a while now, she knows how important it is to have proper and consistent dental care for overall well-being and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience.
Julie is married with two children and when she is not working she is relaxing and spending time with her family. She enjoys the outdoors and likes to walk, run, hike, bike, and play sports such as basketball and soccer.
Marcia Restrepo, Dental Assistant
Marcia was born and raised in New York and moved to North Carolina in 2003. She has been a dental assistant for 25 years. Marcia resides in Fuquay-Varina with her partner, their son, and their menagerie of pets 😊. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family and friends, watching movies, biking, and picking up new hobbies.
Mallory Campbell, Dental Assitant
Mallory is a Sanford, NC native. Graduated from Sandhills Dental Career Center as a Dental Assistant in 2020. She also recently graduated with a Degree in Arts. She enjoys helping patients feel at ease when they come into our office and watching them leave more confident in their smiles.
In her spare time you can find her at the lake, beach, painting, or spending time with family and friends.
Linda Esquivel, Dental Assistant
Linda was born and raised in Angier, North Carolina. She is a mother of two, Isabella and Sophia. She obtained her Cosmetology license from CCCC. While working at her mothers hair salon, she developed her passion in the dental field. She then graduated from NC Dental U as a Dental Assistant in 2021.
She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, traveling and trying new restaurants. Her favorite part about working in dentistry is being a part of helping people achieve their dream smiles.
Julie White, Registered Dental Hygienist
Julie is originally from West Jefferson, NC but has lived locally for around 18 years. In 2017, she graduated from Wake Technical Community College with her degree in Dental Hygiene. Julie is currently active in the American Dental Hygienist Association and loves to volunteer at dental clinics.
Julie has been passionate about dentistry from a young age. She hopes she can make each patient feel welcome and excited about his or her oral health. Most of all, she feels it is important to get to know her patients and make them feel at home. In her free time, Julie likes to hang out with her family, friends, and spend time outdoors.
Amanda Mouzon, Registered Dental Hygienist
Amanda is originally from Stuart, Florida but moved to Fuquay Varina, North Carolina at age 6 and has been residing in the triangle area ever since. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from UNC Chapel Hill in 2013 and practiced in Cary, North Carolina before joining the team at Avent Ferry Family Dentistry. Amanda’s favorite part about dentistry is forming lasting relationships with her patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair while helping them to achieve their health goals.
She recently got married in September of 2017 to her husband Matt and they have a precious dog together named Lilo. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys going to the beach with her family, going to church, hiking, running, yoga and gardening. Amanda is also passionate about traveling and experiencing other cultures she has visited five of the seven continents and over seventeen different countries! Her most memorable experience traveling was when she studied abroad in Thailand as an undergrad at UNC.

Julia Andersen, Registered Dental Hygienist
Julia was raised in Apex, North Carolina but now calls Fuquay-Varina home. Before entering the dental field, Julia earned a Bachelors degree at Appalachian State University in the area of Elementary Education. She was a recipient of the NC Teaching Fellows scholarship and taught third grade for several years.
Julia trained for her license in Dental Hygiene at Central Carolina Community College, where she was focused on serving the community alongside a passionate team of dental professionals. She was a recipient of the Colgate STAR award and is known for her enthusiasm and positive demeanor.
Julia married her husband Erik in 2014. They have a dog named Reese and lots of extended family in the area. Julia loves the North Carolina mountains, DIY projects, and cooking for company.
